SANDUSKY, Ohio — Chris Buescher is set to make his firstNASCAR Truck Series start in the No. 66 FarmPaint.com Ford F-150 with ThorSport Racing at Watkins Glen Int’l on Friday.
Buescher has become one of the most respected competitors in the NASCAR Cup Series garage.
A former Xfinity Series champion and nine-year Cup veteran, he is performing at the top of his game. Buescher joins ThorSport Racing to make his NASCAR Truck Series debut, bringing experience and adaptability behind the wheel of a Ford F-150.
He enters the weekend as the defending Cup Series winner at Watkins Glen with RFK Racing and is ranked 11th in the standings.
“Watkins Glen has been a special place for me, especially after last year’s win, so I’m really looking forward to getting back there. It’s a great place for me to make my first-ever Truck Series start, and I’m thankful for Duke, Rhonda, and Allison Thorson for giving me the opportunity to do so,” said Buescher.
