DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Bike Week returns to Daytona International Speedway next year with tickets on sale starting for the 2027 multi-day motorcycle racing experience, taking place on March 5-14.
Fans can once again witness all the intense, high-speed action of numerous events, including Round 9 of the SMX World Championship, Daytona Supercross, one of the toughest and most thrilling Supercross races of the year, as well as America’s Most Historic Motorcycle Race, the Daytona 200. The American Flat Track organization will also return to Daytona International Speedway to kick of their season March 10-11.
“Bike Week At Daytona is one of the most unique stretches of racing anywhere in the world,” said Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway. “Where else can fans experience the history and tradition of the Daytona 200, the intensity of Daytona Supercross and the incredible action of American Flat Track all in one place? From the high banks to the dirt, these events showcase completely different disciplines and some of the best two-wheeled racers in the world. That variety is what makes Bike Week at the World Center of Racing so special, and we can’t wait to welcome fans back to Daytona in 2027.”
This will be the 86th Annual Bike Week At Daytona, with plenty of competition, activations and multiple motorcycle-related sights to see at the World Center of Racing over two weeks. The options are endless with plenty of variety available to enhance all the Bike Week at Daytona festivities.
Eli Tomac captured the 450SX class victory at the World Center of Racing earlier this year, which made for an incredible start to his final season as a professional rider. Seth Hammaker secured the 250SX class victory after coming off a crash in qualifying. He was able to regroup and cross the finish line with a 4.2 second lead.
The 57th annual Daytona Supercross takes place on March 6, 2027, with riders once again attacking the course designed by Ricky Carmichael, marking the 20th consecutive year of his course design. In the days following Daytona Supercross, fans can catch even more competition and entertainment, including the Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross, now part of SMX Next, and American Flat Track Racing with plenty of activations featuring top-of-the line motorcycle manufacturers and interactive displays.
The Mission AFT SuperTwins Mission Triple Challenge Races saw intense racing with Kody Kopp, Dallas Daniels and Davis Fisher all landing in the top five for each of Daytona’s four main flat track events.
Last spring, Hayden Gillim conquered the historic 3.51-mile road course for Mission King Of The Baggers with an eight second lead in the first race of the weekend. In the second race, Troy Herfoss claimed the checkered flag.
The final days of Bike Week will conclude with the King Of The Baggers and the 85th running of the Daytona 200, with riders tackling the intricate road course and famous high banks at Daytona International Speedway on March 11-13. Josh Herrin is the defending champion, which was his fourth Daytona 200 victory in a row and fifth overall. He’s the first ever rider to win four Daytona 200s in a row.
The 85th running of the Daytona 200 will be the opening round of the championship, serving as a points paying race. Paying championship points for the Daytona 200 is nothing new as for most of its years it was the opening points race of the AMA Championship.
