One of the most asked questions during the offseason, is who will win the season’s big-money winged sprint car races?
Not many may have answered that question with the name Kofoid. However, the second year World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series driver has served notice that he may be the man to beat when big money is on the line.
The driver of the Roth Motorsports No. 83 sprint car won Thursday night’s Huset’s Hustle and earned $100,000 for the victory. Two nights later at the same three-eighths-mile track, Kofoid did it again, topping the High Bank Nationals to earn $250,000, which is the largest prize in sprint car racing this season.
Kofoid also banked $55,555 for winning the Eagle Nationals earlier this summer.
There are plenty more big-money races ahead, including the Kings Royal and the Knoxville Nationals. Can Kofoid keep the momentum going?
