Twice Is Nice For 16-Year-Old Hillier

ALGER, Wash. — It was an epic night for Levi Hillier and Rudeen Racing at Skagit Speedway as the 16-year-old won both sprint car main events Saturday night, culminating with his first 410 sprint car win in the night’s finale.

First up was the Exclusive Quality Customs 360 Sprint Car main event, which took multiple tries to get up and running as the field endured four red flags before completing two laps.

Once the race got up and jamming, Hillier jumped out to the lead and a rhythm around the high side of the track that he used to build an insurmountable advantage en route to his first win of the season and second of his 360 career at Skagit Speedway.

Colton Heath was second and Jesse Schlotfeldt took third.

Next up for Levi was the Hill’s Meat Company 410 Sprint Cars where he’d start on the front row in search of taking home his first 410 win.

Like the 360 main, Levi found a comfortable lane around the top of the raceway that he’d use most of the race in keeping a comfortable distance between his competition en route to the big win. Trey Starks closed late in traffic but never got within striking distance in settling for second place while Jesse Schlotfeldt collected third for the second time on the night. Starks set quick time. Heat wins went to Hillier and Devon Borden.

The NW Focus Midget main event was dominated by defending track champion Shane Smith.
