LIMA, Ohio — Ricky Lewis took the lead on lap 13 and rolled to victory in Friday’s Great Lakes Traditional Sprints feature at Limialand Motorsports Park.
Brian Ruhlman and Mike Miller shared the front row for the 25-lap main event with Ruhlman taking the early lead.
Ruhlman and Gunnar Setser battled for the lead until Setser grabbed the point on lap 3. Lewis began his charge in the Dave Stensland – owned No. 41 and found himself in third place on lap 8. Lewis battled to second and on lap 13, nailed a picture perfect slide job in turn 1 to grab the lead. Lewis then threaded through the lapped traffic and cruised to victory over Setser, Max Adams, James Turnbull and Jakeb Boxell.
While Todd Sherman has built his career on his DIRTcar UMP Modified racing, he has shown that he is just as good behind the wheel of a Lock Sixteen Thunderstock, winning the Limaland Motorsports Park track Championship and King of the Quarter Mile in 2025, and on Friday night, he added the Keysor Memorial to his illustrious career.
In Otterly Baths DIRTcar UMP Modified feature, Kevin Grilliot picked up his first career victory.
Rolly Heyder withstood a final lap battle with Page Perrine to pick up the Dirt Track Truck Series victory.
