A week after a stunning victory in the IndyCar Grand Prix, Simon Pagenaud continued his impressive month of May by winning the pole for the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500.

Simon Pagenaud entered Saturday’s IndyCar Grand Prix winless in his last 22 races and his future with Team Penske was as cloudy as the oncoming rain storm that was about to hit Indianapolis.
He may be a full-time IndyCar driver now, but there’s no driver with more experience in various Acura prototype sports cars than Simon Pagenaud.
