SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Pennsylvania sprint car racer Tim Shaffer started on the pole and won Sunday night’s IRA Sprint Car Series feature at Angell Park Speedway.
Driving the Michael Dutcher Motorsports No. 17gp, Shaffer held off eighth-starting World of Outlaws driver Bill Balog, who ripped through the field to finish second.
Danny Schlafer, Scotty Thiel and Scott Neitzel completed the top five.
Parker Jones won the companion Badger midget feature.
