MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa — Following their weekend at Port Royal Speedway for the annual Bob Weikert Memorial featuring High Limit Racing, TKS Motorsports and California’s Cory Eliason have decided to cut ties.
The team’s future plans remain uncertain and details will be released in the coming days.
“Just a business decision and certainly nothing personal. We did our best to make a connection, but in the end it just didn’t work out as planned,” Troy Renfro, owner of TKS Motorsports, stated. “We wish nothing but the best for Cory in all future endeavors. As far as our team, we’re not sure of a plan as of yet, but we’ll have things narrowed down very soon.”
TKS Motorsports and Cory Eliason will conclude their 2025 tenure with a trio of top-10 performances, two of which accomplished at the Sprint Car Capital of the World – Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway.
