Silk Keeps Rolling In World Series Action

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — Ron Silk won his second consecutive Tour-type modified feature during the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway.

Silk took the lead on lap seven and led the remainder of the 50-lap event, leading NASCAR Cup Series regular Ryan Preece to the checkered flag.

Ronnie Williams, early leader Patrick Emerling and Matt Hirschman completed the top five.

Dawson Sutton continued his domination of the pro late model class, with a third-consecutive victory.

Bobby Jones topped the 602 Modified Tour feature.
