ALLENTOWN, Ohio — It was a night of pure drama, high stakes, and championship celebrations at Limaland Motorsports Park as Alexander and Bebout presented the 29th Annual Season Championship Night.
When the final checkered flag fell on the 2026 points season, Jeff Koz and Jordan Conover stood tall as track champions, while Chris Hicks and Todd Sherman etched their names into the winner’s book on a historic night of racing.
The night began with all teams receiving 50 show-up points upon completing hot laps and qualifying. For Lima, Ohio’s Jeff Koz, those 50 points were all he needed to mathematically lock up the 2026 Otterly Baths DIRTcar UMP Modified track championship before the features even rolled out.
But Koz wasn’t content with just a points title. Starting the 20-lap UMP Modified A-Main on the front row alongside UNOH racer Dylan Drake, Koz rocketed into the early lead in his No. 16 machine. Behind him, Eric Kinney II charged into second while Drew Charlson advanced to third by lap 2.
Further back, a fierce battle for sixth brewed on laps 6 and 7 between Mike Learman and Dylan Woodling, with Woodling finally securing the position on the seventh circuit. The race’s momentum shifted on lap 9 when a caution flags waved for a turn 4 incident involving veteran Todd Sherman and Mike Learman. On the ensuing restart, Kinney II kept Koz honest, closing within a single car length.
Koz proved too strong, however, pulling away in the closing laps to put an exclamation point on his championship season with the feature victory. Drew Charlson crossed the line second, followed by Kinney II, Dillon Nusbaum, and Dylan Woodling.
History was on the line next as the Dirt Track Truck Series took center stage for their landmark 100th feature race in series history, boasting a special $1,000 winner’s prize.
Tim McVety and Chris Hicks earned the front-row starting spots for the 12-lap main event. Hicks jumped out to the early lead in the No. 71 truck.
Despite facing multiple caution flags that repeatedly bunched the field, Hicks kept his poise and survived every restart to claim the historic victory. Page Perrine finished a strong second, with Tony Anderson, Phil Hicks, and Justin Slygh completing the top five.
The Lock Sixteen Thunderstocks closed out the points season with a 15-lap A-Main. Only nine cars were able to make the call for the feature, a structural shift that officially guaranteed Jordan Conover the 2026 Thunderstock track championship before the green flag dropped.
Jeff Matheny and Tony Anderson brought the field to life, with Matheny pacing the early laps. Conover made his move past Anderson for second on lap 2, while Todd Sherman sliced his way into third by lap 3. A lap 5 caution for Zac Rush’s spin in turn 2 reset the field and set up an intense battle. On the restart, Conover and Sherman went wheel-to-wheel on laps 7 and 8 for the runner-up spot. Sherman won that battle, then locked his sights on Matheny.
The duo battled side by side from laps 9 through 11 before Sherman gained the upper hand for good, driving away to capture the feature win. Matheny held on for second, with champion Conover third, Anderson fourth, and Rush recovering for fifth.
