Johnson Collects Canandaigua Cash

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Alan Johnson drove to his first big-block modified victory of the season Saturday night at Land of Legends Raceway.

Johnson banked $2,000 for winning the 30-lap event on the three-eighths-mile track, as he claimed the checkered flag ahead of Erick Rudolph.

Justin Haers, Peter Britten and Danny Johnson rounded out the top five.

Tyler Murray topped the sportsman modified feature and Bobby Parrow won the 305 sprint car main event.

Other winners were Brad Steinruck Jr. (street stock) and Wayne Ellison (hobby stock).
