Eckenrod Only New Winner During Hidden Valley’s Halloween Madness

CLEARFIELD, Pa. — John Eckenrod returned to Hidden Valley Speedway for the first time this year on Saturday night for Halloween Madness and picked up the Pure Stock feature win.

Jon Lee picked up his third Super Late Model feature win while other repeat winners include Shawn Hadden picked up his third Little’s Drive In Four Cylinder feature, it was Heath Walton picking up his fourth 600 Micro Feature win, making him undefeated in the class this season.

The ATV races saw Shane Wilson take the win while Brad Condon of Madera picked up the Stock portion of the race and Steve Sugers won the UTV portion.

In the Pure Stocks, heat winner Shannon Casher started on the pole with Eckenrod on the outside, with Eckenrod taking the lead at the drop of the green with Casher sitting second and B.K. Hudson in third.

The rest of the race they ran that way as the 15-lapper went flag-to-flag for no cautions. The official top five at the conclusion were Eckenrod with the win, Casher, Hudson, Ryan Shaffner and Matt Fulton.
