ROSSBURG, Ohio — Ricky Thornton Jr. and Kyle Bronson won late model features during Sunday night’s Baltes Classic at Eldora Speedway.
Driving a new race car, Thornton led all 25 laps of the opening feature picking up a $5,000 victory in the tune-up event for this weekend’s World 100 at the famed half-mile track.
Polesitter Mike Marlar, Tyler Erb, Cory Hedgecock and Brandon Overton completed the top five.
Bronson, meanwhile, swept past Tanner English on the 11th lap of the nightcap and went on to pocket the $5,000 winner’s check.
English finished second, with Haiden Cowan, Jimmy Owens and Frank Heckenast Jr. completing the top five.
Jerry Bowersock won the modified feature and Jordan Conover toped the super stock run.
