BLOOMFIELD, Iowa — Chad Simpson roared from sixth starting position to win Monday night’s Malvern Bank East dirt late model feature at Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway.
Simpson grabbed the lead from Jesse Sobbing on the 14th lap and led the remainder of the 30-lap event to win by a whopping 6.655 seconds. It was his first win in the series this season and the ninth of his career.
Sobbing was second, ahead of Dylan Thornton, Blair Nothdurft and Jason Hahne.
