Madden Banks $20,000 At Bulls Gap

BULLS GAP, Tenn. — Chris Madden won Friday night’s Gauntlet preliminary feature at Volunteer Speedway.

The 50-lap victory paid the veteran driver $20,000.

Madden, who started on the pole, inherited the lead when Jonathan Davenport suffered mechanical issues on lap 30.

From there, Madden led the rest of the way, holding off Zack Mitchell for the victory.

Brandon Overton, Ricky Thornton Jr. and Carson Ferguson completed the top five.

Saturday’s finale of the two-race weekend will pay $30,000 to the winner.
