Honeycutt Wins 57th Snowball Derby

PENSACOLA, Fla. — For the first time in his career, Kaden Honeycutt is a Snowball Derby winner at Five Flags Speedway.

After starting the event from outside the front row, Honeycutt chased down polesitter Ty Majeski and swiped the lead away with 18 laps to go after a fierce battle on a restart. Saturday’s Snowflake 100 winner, Stephen Nasse, charged his way into contention late.

However, Nasse was unable to mount a charge as Honeycutt secured the $50,000-to-win victory aboard the No. 21 Chevrolet.

Majeski settled for third place after leading 192 of the 300 laps. Jace Hansen and William Sawalich completed the top five.

Gio Ruggiero, Sammy Smith, Chandler Smith, Matthew Craig and Dawson Sutton finished sixth through 10th, respectively.
