LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. — Following an impressive start to their partnership, T.J. DeCaire and Low Country Motorsports will expand their relationship for the remainder of the 2026 season, with DeCaire set to compete in the remaining CARS Tour Pro Late Model events for the team.
The announcement comes after DeCaire and Low Country Motorsports produced back-to-back podium finishes in their first two races together.
DeCaire made his debut with the organization at North Wilkesboro Speedway, qualifying third and finishing runner-up before returning to the CARS Tour at Hickory Motor Speedway for the Throwback Classic on August 8.
At Hickory, DeCaire and Low Country Motorsports delivered a clean sweep. DeCaire earned fast qualifier honors before leading all 100 laps of the feature to score the victory, giving the pairing an average finish of 1.5 through their first two starts together.
The immediate success made continuing the relationship a natural next step for both DeCaire and Low Country Motorsports as they look to build momentum through the remainder of the season.
“I’m super excited to be full-time with Low Country for the rest of the year,” said DeCaire. “It’s a great group of people I’m surrounded by, and with the speed we’ve already shown, there’s a lot to be excited about. I’m looking forward to running the rest of the CARS Tour schedule and some crown jewel races at the end of the year. Cody Glick and everyone at Hamke have been top-notch to work with as well.”
For Low Country Motorsports co-owner Mikey Kile, DeCaire’s performance behind the wheel represents only part of what made him a natural fit for the organization.
“T.J. is a generational talent, but beyond his ability behind the wheel, he and his family are simply a joy to be around,” said Kile. “We really got to see how talented he was at North Wilkesboro. He has great instincts, understands the feel he wants in a racecar and can dissect a corner like a veteran. He’s also willing to put in the work it takes to become a great racecar driver.”
Kile continued, “Every time you go to the racetrack with T.J., you feel like you have a shot to win. We have great people, great equipment and a group that really cares about what we’re building. T.J. completes that package. We share the same goal — chase trophies, win as many races as we can and continue building this team. He’s a perfect fit for Low Country Motorsports, and we’re excited about what we can accomplish together.”
DeCaire will compete in the five remaining CARS Tour Pro Late Model events on the 2026 schedule with Low Country Motorsports, while the pairing also plans to compete together in select crown jewel events later this year.
Their next opportunity comes August 22 at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, South Carolina, where DeCaire and Low Country Motorsports will look to carry the momentum from their victory at Hickory into the next chapter of their expanded partnership.
