LAKE WALES, Fla. — Nick Leitz will pilot the No. 92 DGM Racing Chevrolet Camaro in back-to-back NASCAR Xfinity Series races at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.
Leitz’s attempt at Atlanta will mark his second career Xfinity Series start and his first with DGM Racing.
Long time partner, Precision Measurements, Inc., kicks off its 11th year with Leitz as the primary sponsor in both races.
“I’m really excited to race with family-owned DGM Racing this year,” Leitz explains. “Everyone’s hard work on this team shows on and off the track, and the short time we’ve been working together has already been great!
“These are fast tracks that I’ve never run before, but I know I’m in good hands with this group.”
Growing up watching his father, grandfather, and great grandfather turn laps, Leitz was inspired to get behind the wheel at a young age. Much like DGM Racing, Leitz developed a passion and need for speed because of his family’s love for the automotive industry and involvement in motorsports.
“The entire DGM Racing team is looking forward to working with Nick,” Mario Gosselin, DGM Racing owner, explained. “It’s always great to work with like-minded racers, and Nick’s background is very similar to mine as his family has been instrumental in his racing career.
