Despite a rare mistake that handed Sunday’s Mid-Ohio victory to teammate Scott Dixon, Alex Palou remains at the top of the power rankings. Palou finished second on Sunday and has won six of 10 races this season. Last Week: 1

  1. David Gravel

World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series point leader David Gravel had the Fourth of July weekend off as there were no WoO races scheduled. He’s won 10 features this season. Last Week: 2

  1. Rico Abreu

Rico Abreu also had the weekend off. He’s won nine features this season, including six with High Limit Racing. Last Week: 3

  1. Bobby Pierce

Bobby Pierce picked up a preliminary night World of Outlaws victory at Deer Creek Speedway on Thursday night but got upside down the following night. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series point leader has won 19 overall features this season. Last Week: 4

  1. Lando Norris

Lando Norris won his home country’s British Grand Prix for his fourth Formula victory of the season. Last Week: 10

  1. Austin Prock

Austin Prock has won four NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Funny Car events and leads the standings. The series returns to competition July 17-19 at Washington’s Pacific Raceways. Last Week: 5

  1. Buddy Kofoid

Still basnking in the glory of a $350,000 week at Huset’s Speedway in late June, Buddy Kofoid had the weekend off from competition. Last Week: 6

  1. Jett Lawrence

Jett Lawrence remained perfect in the Pro Motocross Championship by winning both motos Saturday at Michigan’s RedBud National making him six-for-six during the summer season. Last Week: Not Ranked

  1. Justin Grant

Justin Grant picked up a USAC midget feature win at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It was Grant’s 11th combined victory in USAC’s three national touring series this season. Last Week: 8

  1. Danny Dietrich

Pennsylvania sprint car racer Danny Dietrich won Friday’s Mitch Smith Memorial at Williams Grove Speedway. It was his third win of $20,000 or more in the past three weeks. He’s won eight features this season. Last Week: Not Ranked

On The Move: Tyler Erb is making the DIRTcar Summer Nationals his personal playground. Erb has racked up six victories on the tour.

What To Watch For?: The major Speedweeks are out of the way and so is a mid-summer break for the two winged sprint car national touring series. Who will flex their muscle heading into Kings Royal week at Eldora Speedway?

Dropped Out: Formula 1 point leader Oscar Piastri and dirt late model sensation Jonathan Davenport dropped from the rankings this week.
