INDIANAPOLIS — One day after announcing the team would field an Indy NXT team next season, Cusick Motorsports announced that it was entering this weekend’s season finale at Nashville Superspeedway.
Cusick Motorsports will field the No. 24 machine with open-wheel racing veteran Davey Hamilton Jr. at the wheel.
“Huge thank you to our partners, Mach10 Automotive, Elite Indycar, OnTrack Performance and Branded Bills,” the team posted on Facebook. “With Davey behind the wheel and our partners backing the effort, we are ready to make some noise in Nashville.”
Hamilton has made three Indy NXT starts this season, driving the No. 24 car that was fielded with Cusick’s partner HMD Motorsports.
