CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Pennsylvania sprint car ace Danny Dietrich enjoyed a big night in the Buckeye State Saturday at Atomic Speedway.
Dietrich dominated the Dean Knittel Memorial sprint car race that wrapped up Ohio Sprint Speedway and also secured the series title at the three-eighths-mile race track.
Dietrich earned $26,552 for winning the 35-lap main event in what was his first victory of Speedweek.
Starting from the pole, Dietrich held off Ryan Smith for the victory.
Tim Shaffer, Cole Duncan and Kale Thomas completed the top five.
