Starks Goes Wire-To-Wire At Skagit

ALGER, Wash. — Trey Starks picked up another feature win and the season championship in the Exclusive Quality Customs 360 Sprint Cars on First Responders Night sponsored by Nelson Reisner.

The Exclusive Quality Customs 360 event looked like a typical Starks wire-to-wire win in the making until the final five laps.

Levi Hillier worked his way to second place and made big strides in catching Trey but could not get close enough to make the last big push needed to stop him as Starks rode to the win.

Hillier was a strong second while Robbie Price ran third.

Starks secured both driver’s and owners points championships with Skagit Speedway while Colton Heath and Thirty Three Motorsports took driver’s and owner’s points championships with the Summer Challenge Series.

Shane Smith also picked up a win and championship in the NW Focus Midgets while Austin Kerrigan won the Hornet main event and Steve Peters took the track title for the class.
