Five regions within the National Sprint Car Rankings have now begun their season and 41 drivers have made double digit starts in 410 winged sprint cars.
The National Sprint Car Rankings will not open until drivers begin reaching the 20-start requirement in a few weeks. Brent Marks leads the country in races, having run 16 events at this point.
With Anthony Macri recovering from injuries, Chase Dietz has now taken the top spot in the Eastern region.
Buddy Kofoid, who swept a pair of World of Outlaws features at Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway, leads the Mid-America region.
Other regional leaders are Aaron Reutzel (Western), Jacob Bergenwald (PA-OH) and Cap Henry and Cole Duncan who are co-leaders in the Great Lakes region.
Twenty-eight drivers have combined to win the 42 features run this season. Kofoid leads the nation with four victories.
Commissioned by Tom Deery and Brian Carter in 2009, the Sprint Car Rankings are administered by longtime racing official Gary Spaid.
