Open Wheel Showdown Entries Surpass 300

LAS VEGAS — Entries for the fourth running of the Only Bulls Open Wheel Showdown Nov. 5-7 at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway have surpassed 300 across six divisions.

Spurred by the recent reopening of entries in the supermodified division, which has grown to 38 cars, the field surpassed 300. Leading the supermodified entries for the second annual Larry Trigueiro Memorial are Davey Hamilton, Otto Sitterly, Mike McVetta and Tyler Shullick.

The headlining winged sprint car class will race for $50,000 to win with inaugural race winner Aaron Willison and two-time winner Kody Swanson headlining an entry list that includes Colton Bettis, Tyler Roahrig, Bobby Santos III, Jake Trainor, Ryan Litt and Open Wheel Showdown promoter Davey Hamilton Jr.

The non winged sprint car field includes Bettis, Hamilton, Willison, Trainor, Swanson, Roahrig, Santos, Jackson Macenko, Dakoda Armstrong, Taylor Ferns and Ryan Newman.

Modifieds, Legend cars and Bandoleros complete the card.
