WATSONVILLE, Calif. — Shane Golobic won Saturday night’s Howard Kaeding Classic at Watsonville Speedway.
Golobic started sixth in the familiar No. 17w Matt Wood Racing sprint car and steadily worked his way to the front to win the 30-lap event to complete a doubleheader weekend for the NARC 410 Sprint Car Series.
Golobic held off Landon Brooks, who raced from 14th to finish second.
Justin Sanders, Chance Grasty and D.J. Netto completed the top five.
