WARRNAMBOOL, Australia — James McFadden was dominant en route to victory on night two of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Saturday at Premier Speedway.
After surviving the challenges of American Cole Macedo during the middle stages of the race, McFadden won by 1.054 seconds to secure his place in Sunday night’s finale.
Macedo finished second after having started on the pole and leading the early laps.
Bradley Vaughn, Jy Corbet and Lachlan McHugh rounded out the top five.
Americans Ryan Timms, Aaron Retuzel and Hunter Schuerenberg finished sixth through eighth, respectively.
