Macri Claims March Sprint Madness

YORK HAVEN, Pa. — Anthony Macri, the leading sprint car winner in the country last season, claimed his first victory of the season Sunday at BAPS Motor Speedway.

Macri started outside the second row and won the 30-lap Acme Companies March Sprint Madness ahead of Kyle Moody, who started second.

Freddie Rahmer finished third, with Jeff Halligan and Kyle Reinhardt, who started 19th, rounding out the top five.

Derek Locke raced from the pole to win the companion 358 sprint car main event.
