Davis & Dutcher Team To Chase High Limit Tour

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — The Rayce Rudeen Foundation Rookie of the Year battle is officially on with the full-time addition of 22-year-old Oklahoma native Hank Davis to Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing.

Driving for Michael Dutcher Motorsports and Lance Keller with Lifestyle Homes, Davis’ No. 17GP will be pitted against 21-year-old Jacksonville, Oregon native Tanner Holmes in the Buch Motorsports No. 13.

They’ll go toe-to-toe for the second Rayce Rudeen Foundation Rookie of the Year Award after Daison Pursley topped a four-way fight last year.

Making headlines with his Chili Bowl Nationals performances over the last several years, Davis has qualified for four-straight Championship A-Mains with Matt Seymour Racing. He’s won a preliminary feature in Tulsa before and last month finished on the podium of the 55-lap finale for a career-best run.

Davis’ national touring 410 experience is limited, however, only having attempted 12 total events between High Limit Racing and the World of Outlaws. His career-best finish with either series came last year at Missouri’s Lucas Oil Speedway with a ninth-place outing in the Beaver Racing No. 12x, a car that he drove to four wins in 2025.

The Okie won with ASCS at Lakeside, POWRi at Callaway, and swept the Short Track Nationals at Texarkana as his name entered more sprint car circles. Prior to that, Davis drove the Two-C Racing No. 2c in the 360 ranks and collected 2024 Rookie of the Year honors with the ASCS National Tour.

With previous laps at only 12 of the 33 tracks scheduled, Davis will have plenty of learning opportunities this season as he checks off a whopping 21 tracks for the first time.

Michael Dutcher Motorsports now becomes the fifth team – joining Chase Randall Racing, Randerson Racing, Mosites-Lynch Motorsports, and Vermeer Motorsports – committed to battling for the ‘Joker Fund’ this year, and more importantly, chasing High Roller Club membership which can be obtainted via a top-three points finish in 2026 or 2027, or a top-eight points finish in both years.
