Gabby Chaves To Substitute For Mark Wilkins At Mid-Ohio

LEXINGTON, Ohio Mark Wilkins, co-driver of the No. 33 Elantra N TCR will not compete at this weekend’s Mid-Ohio 120 in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, due to a family emergency. 
 
Gabby Chaves, the 2020 IMPC TCR co-champion will substitute for Wilkins, co-driving the No.33 Elantra N TCR with Robert Wickens.
 
Chaves has previously competed in the NTT IndyCar Series, as well as earning an Indy Lights championship in 2014. 
 
Through the first three races of the season, the No. 33 Michael Johnson Racing w/ Bryan Herta Autosport entry sits 6th in the TCR standings. Their highest finish so far, has been a third-place podium result at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway In February.
