CHICO, Calif. — The 72nd Gold Cup Race of Champions kicked off Wednesday night at Silver Dollar Speedway with the Padjen Classic for 360 sprint cars.
Justin Sanders started third and brought his No. 2x to the finish line ahead of polesitter Max Mittry to win the 30-lap main event.
Kaleb Montgomery, Landon Brooks and Andy Forsberg completed the top five.
