Dave Blaney Rules Sharon Opener

HARTFORD, Ohio — Hall of Fame sprint car racer Dave Blaney added another feature victory to his résumé by winning the opening night 410 winged sprint car main event at Sharon Speedway.

Blaney started his No. 10 outside the front row and won the 30-lap main event ahead of Central Pennsylvania traveler Dylan Cisney, who raced from seventh on the grid to finish second.

Blaney picked up $3,000 for the victory.

A.J. Flick came home third, with Lee Jacobs and Adam Kekich rounding out the top five.

Chad Ruhlman won the RUSH sprint car feature and Dustin DeMatta topped the econo modified main event. Ben Easler bested the sportsman modified field.
