FONDA, N.Y. — Matt Sheppard pocketed the $53,000 top prize for winning Saturday night’s Fonda 200 big-block modified event at Fonda Speedway.
Run under the Short Track Super Series banner, the 200-lap event saw Sheppard start third and beat Jack Lehner to the checkered flag.
Marc Johnson, Anthony Perrego and Danny Varin completed the top five.
A.J. Greco won the 602 sportsman main event.
