It’s Spatola On Night One At Gateway

ST. LOUIS — Mike Spatola led all 25 laps to win Thursday’s Gateway Dirt Nationals opener at The Dome at America’s Center.

Spatola earned $5,000 for winning the late model headliner on the temporary fifth-mile dirt track.

 

It was his fifth victory of the season.

Ashton Winger started outside the front row and finished second, while Brandon Sheppard, Ryan Gustin and Jadon Frame completed the top five.

Brandon Overton was the fast qualifier for the 66-car field with a lap of 12.399 seconds.
