JACKSON, Minn. – Rain throughout the morning and an unfavorable weather forecast has forced the postponement of Tuesday’s season opener.
Track officials are looking for a date later in the season to reschedule the Bank Midwest IMCA Series event featuring IMCA modifieds, IMCA stock cars, IMCA sport mods, IMCA hobby stocks and IMCA sport compacts.
The rain out marks the third scheduled event to be postponed because of weather this year. The season opener is now slated for this Friday when Jackson Motorplex showcases a $3,000-to-win Midwest Sprint Touring Series and Midwest Power Series feature as well as the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Cars racing for $700-to-win.
