WHEEL, Tenn. — Mike Marlar opened the Deep Fried 75 weekend at Duck River Speedway by winning Friday night’s 40-lap feature.
Marlar started outside the front row and battled Brandon Overton during the middle stages of the race before retaking the lead on lap 35 and pulling away to register the $8,000 Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series late model triumph.
Marlar beat Overton to the checkered flag by 1.731 seconds.
Ashton Winger came home third, with Oakley Johns and Dalton Cook rounding out the top five.
