BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Keelan Harvick drove to victory in the SPEARS CARS Tour West Pro Late Model main event at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway, topping a 125-lap feature to headline the weekend’s action.
Harvick, driving the No. 62 Hunt Brothers Pizza entry, completed the race in 1:01:48.743 and held off Jaron Giannini by .748 seconds at the finish. Giannini finished second in the No. 23 GMS Race Cars machine, while Taylor Mayhew rounded out the podium in third.
Jeffrey Peterson finished fourth, with Robby Sawyer completing the top five.
Peterson also found victory lane in the CARS Tour West Limited Late Model feature, winning the 75-lap main event in the No. 51P Tri City Towing entry. Christian Bazen finished second, Kenna Mitchell was third, Scott Youngren took fourth, and Brenden Ruzbarsky rounded out the top five.
In SPEARS CARS Tour West Legends competition, Colton Page won the 30-lap feature in the No. 24 General Production Services entry. Daniel O’Donnell finished second, just .485 seconds back, while Stephen Bazen completed the top three.
The Kern Spec Racers also put on a close battle, with Tanner Huddleston winning the 40-lap main event. Huddleston crossed the finish line .883 seconds ahead of Ryan Partridge, while TJ Moon finished third.
