KAUKAUNA, Wis. — Justin Mondeik upset the field to win Tuesday night’s Gandrud Auto Group 250 at Wisconsin Int’l Raceway.
The event for the ASA Midwest Tour at the half-mile race track saw Mondeik grab the lead from Ty Fredrickson with 10 laps remaining and pull away to win by .857 seconds in the 250-lap race.
It was Mondeik’s fourth ASA Midwest Tour victory.
Mondeik started fourth and earned a $15,000 payday.
Fredrickson finished second, with Penn Sauter, Riley Stenjem and Gabe Sommers completing the top five.
