LOUDON, N.H. — The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour makes its annual trek to New Hampshire Motor Speedway this Saturday, Aug. 22 for the running of the Mohegan Sun 100.
The event is the 12th race of the season.
• The Mohegan Sun 100 is the 78th NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event held at New Hampshire Motor Speedway dating back to 1990. During that time, 25 different drivers have visited victory lane at the track known as ‘The Magic Mile.’
• NASCAR Hall of Famer Mike Stefanik leads all drivers with eight victories at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Tony Hirschman (7), Reggie Ruggiero (6), Bobby Santos III (6) and Ted Christopher (5) are the only other drivers with five victories or more.
Previous New Hampshire Motor Speedway winners entered in Saturday’s race include Doug Coby, Justin Bonsignore, Ryan Newman, Chase Dowling, Anthony Nocella, Ryan Preece and Tyler Rypkema.
Rypkema is the defending event winner.

• Only three drivers – Patrick Emerling, Austin Beers and Eric Goodale – have completed every possible lap during the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season.
• NASCAR Cup Series competitor Ryan Preece will make his second NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour start of the season Saturday. He previously won in Modified Tour competition at New Hampshire in 2021.
