Emerling Wins NASCAR Modifieds At Monadnock

WINCHESTER, N.H. — Patrick Emerling held off Anthony Nocella for his third NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour victory of the season Saturday at the 0.250-mile Monadnock Speedway. 

 

Nocella came up 0.366 seconds short of dethroning Emerling but scored his best finish in three series starts this season. 

Matt Hirschman, Craig Lutz and Woody Pitkat rounded out the top 10 while Matthew Kimball, Ron Silk, Justin Bonsignore, Tommy Catalano and Austin Beers completed the top 10. Beers started the race on the pole. 

The average speed of the 200-lapper was 60.106 mph. Hirschman recorded the fastest lap of the night at 11.951 seconds. 

Just three races remain in the 2024 season. The series returns in two weeks at North Wilkesboro (N.C.) Speedway.
