Date Set For 2025 Daytona 500

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Daytona Int’l Speedway officials announced today that next year’s Daytona 500 will be held on Feb. 16, 2025.

The official date was revealed during the Daytona 500 Champion’s Celebration and Lunch with Hendrick Motorsports by Frank Kelleher, Daytona Int’l Speedway President and Daytona 500 winner William Byron.

“Announcing the official date of the 2025 Daytona 500 today while honoring William Byron’s monumental victory last week was very special,” said Kelleher. “Our loyal fans saw the drivers put on quite the show, and they were on the edge of their seats the entire race. I know that passion and love for the Daytona 500 will carry over next year into the 67th running of The Great American Race.”

DIS and Hendrick Motorsports celebrated William Byron’s DAYTONA 500 victory at the Axalta Customer Experience Center in Concord, N.C.

Attendees included Kelleher, Byron, crew chief Rudy Fugle, team owner Rick Hendrick and Jeff Gordon, vice chairman, Hendrick Motorsports.

Byron is also the first Charlotte native ever to win the Daytona 500.
