McLaren driver Lando Norris earned his fifth Formula 1 victory of the season in the Hungarian Grand Prix. Norris enters the summer break nine points behind teammate Oscar Piastri in the title race. Last Week: 5

NASCAR Cup Series point leader William Byron finished four Sunday at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) Int’l. He’s won two races this season and is closing in on the regular-season title. Last Week: 6

David Gravel finished third in the Knoxville Nationals after his week got off to a bad start. He won the Friday night Hard Knox feature for his 12th win of the season. Last Week: 7

  1. Oscar Piastri

Formula 1 point leader Oscar Piastri finished second to McLaren teammate Lando Norris in the Hungarian Grand Prix. Piastri leads Norris by nine points as Formula 1 takes the next month off. Last Week: 8

  1. Austin Prock

NHRA Funny Car point leader Austin Prock has five victories this season. The series gets back on the track Aug. 14-17 at Brainerd Int’l Raceway in Minnesota. Last Week: 9

  1. Shane van Gisbergen

Shane van Gisbergen earned his fourth NASCAR Cup Series victory of the season Sunday at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) Int’l. Last Week: Not Ranked

On The Move: Ryan Timms jumped to fourth in the power rankings after dominating the 64th running of the Knoxville Nationals at Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway.

What To Watch For?: The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Richmond Raceway with only two events remaining in the regular-season.

Dropped Out: World of Outlaws sprint car racer and Central Pennsylvania ace Anthon Macri dropped from the top 10 in the power rankings.
