CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — R.J. Johnson held off charging Kevin Thomas Jr. to win Friday night’s USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series feature at Central Arizona Raceway.
Johnson started third and claimed the 30-lap event on the first of two nights for the series at the three-eighths-mile race track.
Thomas finished second, with Charles Davis Jr., Ricky Lewis and Cale Coons completing the top five.
