Timms Rules West Coast Sprint

VENTURA, Calif. — Ryan Timms was the class of the field as the USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series wrapped up its season Saturday night at Ventura Raceway.

The 30-lapper completed the card for the 81st Turkey Night Grand Prix.

Timms, who started on the pole, led all 30 laps of the non-winged sprint car feature, holding off series champion Logan Calderwood to claim the victory.

Mitchel Moles raced from fifth to finish third, with Matt Mitchell and Chase Johnson rounding out the top five.
