TULARE, Calif. — After the completion of the California swing, 10-time World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion Donny Schatz will join Sides Motorsports for the remainder of the season.
Sides Motorsports, in partnership with JVI Group, has announced Schatz will complete the campaign with the team as a teammate to Chris Windom in the No. 7s machine.
Schatz parted ways with Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing in August and has since spent time driving for Big Game Motorsports, Lunstra Motorsports, and Kevin Kozlowski as he navigates his 29th consecutive year with The Greatest Show on Dirt.
Schatz’s final night in Kozlowski’s Works Limited Sprint Car will be at the $83,000-to-win Dennis Roth Classic at Thunderbowl Raceway on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Next weekend’s trip to Ohio at Millstream Speedway (Sept. 26) and Sharon Speedway (Sept. 27) will be Schatz’s first two nights driving for Jason Sides’ team.
The Fargo, N.D., driver is currently sixth in points with 29 top 10s through 56 races in 2025. Windom sits ninth in points aboard Sides Motorsports’ primary entry.
