SLINGER, Wis. — Casey Johnson grabbed the lead with three laps remaining and won the 47th annual Slinger Nationals at Slinger Super Speedway on Tuesday night.
Johnson passed Carson Brown on a late restart to bank the $20,000 top prize in the super late model classic on the quarter-mile race track.
Austin Nason got around Brown during the closing laps to finish second.
Brown came home third, with Jesse Bernhagen and Derek Thorn completing the top five.
