CONCORD, N.C. — After four Legend Car divisions put on an electric show for fans, finishing the postponed Round 1 of competition, heavy rain and lightning brought an early end to Tuesday’s much-anticipated school bus race before all the mayhem of Round 2 could commence.
Before the rain cancelled Tuesday’s programming, two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch dominated the field from the pole position to the checkered flag.
For 25 laps, Busch maneuvered through a PRO-FABrication Headers and Exhaust caution-filled race, grabbing his first win in a Masters division loaded with talent.
Before the prolonged inclement weather rolled in, Spencer Bradshaw (Young Lions), Chase Burgeson (VP Fuels Semi-Pro) and Jake Bollman (Dilling Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical Pros) also grabbed a checkered flag to close out Monday’s postponed round of competition.
