AFTON, N.Y. — It was another victory for Matt Sheppard Wednesday night at Afton Motorsports Park.
Starting from the pole, Sheppard won the Interstate 88 Special modified main event and earned the $5,088 winner’s check.
Sheppard held off Alex Yankowski in the 48-lap main event.
Stewart Friesen, Danny Creeden and Anthony Perrego completed the top five.
Blaine Klinger captured the STSS Sportsman I-88 Special.
