DECORAH, Iowa — Chad Simpson methodically worked his way forward from fifth starting spot to win Saturday’s King of the Bullring event for the Malvern Bank East Series late models at Winneshiek Raceway.
Simpson took the lead from Tad Pospisil on the 19th circuit and led the remainder of the 40-lap contest.
Jason Hahne came on strong at the end to finish second, while Jesse Glenz, Blair Nothdurft and Paspisil completed the top five.
