FAIRBURY, Ill. — Shannon Babb captured the Illinois Dirt Championship Saturday night at Fairbury Speedway.
Babb started fourth and took the lead in the MARS Late Model Championship feature from Jason Feger on lap 39. He led the remainder of the 50-lap event to earn the $15,050 payday.
Brandon Sheppard came on strong at the end to finish second, with Feger third.
Ryan Unzicker and Bob Gardner completed the top five.
