Ty Gibbs Takes Xfinity Series Pole At Nashville

LEBANON, Tenn. — Ty Gibbs won the pole for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Nashville Superspeedway. He recorded a lap of 30.876 seconds (155.072 mph) to squeak past Cole Custer, who put together a valiant effort as the last car to qualify.

Ryan Sieg qualified third, A.J. Allmendinger fourth and Austin Hill fifth. Justin Allgaier, Noah Gragson, Chandler Smith, Riley Herbst and Parker Kligerman completed the top 10.

Jesse Love had a hole in his radiator and didn’t post a qualifying lap. He’ll start from the rear. 

Jade Buford’s No. 74 car failed inspection three times and didn’t post a qualifying lap. He was the only car that failed to make the show.
